Laza Cafe is an amazing spot for desserts and coffee! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kunafa was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and perfect for hanging out with friends or satisfying a late-night sweet craving. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Staff was nice. This place was purely aesthetics. Food was terrible. I’m sorry, stale pistachios. Stale Oreo topping, Filling in the Kunafa was super mid. The world’s cheapest ice cream sandwich on top. $15 for just presentation. We threw it out after 2 bites each. Had to go get food after to wash out the flavor.

I stopped by Laza Dessert Cafe on Steinway during Ramadan because it was one of the few places open late for coffee and desserts, which is honestly a big plus when those late-night cravings hit after iftar. I decided to try the Laza Special crepe because the picture they had displayed made it look super chocolatey and rich. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the expectation. The crepe itself was extremely sweet — like 99% sugar and maybe 1% milk chocolate. I could barely taste the chocolate at all, and the sweetness was so overwhelming it honestly felt like diabetes waiting to happen 🤦‍♀️. It was just way too much and not balanced. On top of that, the picture next to it made me think I was ordering a different crepe, so it kind of felt like false advertisement because what I got didn’t match what was shown. I also tried the Spanish latte, which was okay but pretty bland. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t really stand out and could definitely use a bit more flavor. The one thing I will give them credit for is being open late in Steinway during Ramadan. It’s nice having a spot where you can grab coffee or pastries when most other places are closed. Laza Dessert Cafe in Astoria is such a great spot if you’re in the mood for something sweet and refreshing. They have a really nice variety of desserts, and the coffee menu is surprisingly big with a lot of different drinks to choose from. What I really liked is their selection of lemonades and virgin mojitos super refreshing and perfect if you don’t drink alcohol. Everything was well made and the place has a nice vibe to sit and relax. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Laza Dessert Cafe is an absolute gem! Their kunafa, crepes, and Dubai chocolate are incredibly delicious, each item tastes freshly made and full of flavor. The prices are very affordable, which makes enjoying great desserts even better. The cafe has a cozy, well-lit atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax with friends or family. On top of that, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommend Laza Dessert Cafe for anyone looking for amazing desserts and a warm dining experience!
